Getting the cart in
Coffee cart access requirements
To ensure a great experience for all of us, we require the client to ensure suitable access and space for the coffee cart, including:
- Safe and legal parking as close as reasonably possible to the venue entrance.
- Step-free access, or a lift large enough to transport the coffee cart and equipment.
- A clear, level operating space measuring at least 2.5 m × 1.5 m.
- A clear pathway from the unloading area to the final service position.
- No construction, temporary structures, stairs, narrow doorways, obstructions or other works that prevent or restrict the cart from being safely moved into position.
Please advise Madison Ave Coffee before confirming your booking of any access restrictions, lift limitations or construction works. If safe and suitable access is unavailable upon arrival, we may be unable to provide the coffee cart service. Additional labour, waiting time or alternative setup costs may be charged to the client.

How much does coffee cart hire cost in Sydney?
Pricing depends on guest numbers, duration, location and baristas. Most events start from a minimum spend — use the estimator above for a tailored range, or see our full pricing guide.
How many coffees can you make per hour?
One barista serves around 60–80 per hour; we add a second barista for larger crowds so your guests aren’t waiting.
What do you need on-site — power and water?
A standard power source nearby; we bring our own water and full setup. If power isn’t available, let us know when booking.
Which areas of Sydney do you cover?
All of Greater Sydney — the CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Western Sydney and Parramatta, the Sutherland Shire and the Hills District.
